How to Save a Copy of Your Unity Project with Plastic SCM
Are you planning on cancelling your Plastic SCM subscription but want to keep a local copy of your Unity project on your machine? Follow these simple steps:
Open the Plastic SCM GUI.
Ensure that you have the latest version of the project checked out and that all your changes have been committed to the repository.
From the Plastic SCM GUI, navigate to the "Repository" tab.
Click on the "Export" button.
Choose the location where you would like to save the exported repository.
Click "Export" to begin the process of creating a local copy of the repository on your machine.
Wait for the export process to complete. Depending on how big your project is, this can take some time..
Once the export is complete, you can open the project in Unity by going to "File > Open Project" and selecting the folder where you exported the repository.
These methods will enable you to maintain a local copy of your Unity project on your computer even after terminating your Plastic SCM subscription.
